Short Film: SEECHERS

University student, Aris Fletcher, is training to become a Seecher. They are a secret group, who hold ancient knowledge about using subconscious power. Preparing for the Physical Trial, Aris steals a forbidden text, on how to enter the Subconscious World. Spellbound by his recent dreams. Ignoring all cautions. Aris decides instead, to dabble in his new powers, outside the protection of the Seecher Guild.

Guest: Laurence R. Harvey

Laurence R. Harvey is an actor who has made his mark on the horror genre in the past decade. Bursting on the scene with Tom Six’s The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence), playing the lead role of Martin, the troubled car park attendant obsessed with Six’s first ‘Pede film. He also brilliantly played a different character in the third movie. As well as appearing in shorts such as Call Girl (Jill Gevargizian, 2014) and features like The Editor (2014, Astron 6), My Bloody Banjo (2015, Liam Regan), Frankenstein Created Bikers (2016, James Bickert).

We’re delighted to have Laurence back with us following his popular appearance at our first festival. This year, we’re honoured to have Laurence provide a live commentary to The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) for the first time ever! Expect lots of behind the scenes nuggets and some very irreverent humour. It goes without saying, this won’t be for the faint of heart!

Short Film: THE LAST

After being shot multiple times, mortally wounded Jess bursts back to life gasping for breath. The aftermath of a violent and bloody shoot out reveals Jess dragging herself through the house nervously checking room to room. To her shock Jess finds her husband’s dead body. With limited time Jess makes her final call home, only to discover she is not alone.

Eric Potts plays Gary, the owner of a large, beautiful country house who is being mentally tortured by disembodied, demonic voices that seem to know his every move, his every thought.

Are these spirits previous occupants that have been hidden in the house for centuries recently awoken or something altogether more hellish? At this wits’ end, after weeks of this constant harassment, the owner calls in the Demonologist for help.

When the Demonologist arrives he discovers that not only does the house have some terrifying secrets, so does the owner! The Demonologist takes on this challenging case where this supernatural foe has no physical form at all. How do you battle something that you cannot see but only hear?
